Welcome to Blue Collar Whiskey Drinkers. On this episode we are doing another versus episode, Early Times Bottle-in-Bond vs Kirkland Bottle-in-Bond.
Early Times Bottle-in-Bond: “Early Times Bottled-in-Bond is crafted with pure water, a mash bill composed of 79% corn, 11% rye and 10% malted barley, fermented with a proprietary yeast strain and carefully distilled. DSP No. 354, home of Early Times, is the longest continuously operating distillery under the same ownership in Kentucky. For over 150 years, our traditional practices have delivered great taste. It is matured for a minimum of four years in new charred oak barrels, resulting in a classic, smooth bourbon, rich in taste and character."
Kirkland Bottle-in-Bond: "Kirkland Signature Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is wonderfully balanced. Its subtle notes of candied fruit and honey give way to a pleasant spice, bringing out the true character of the rye. It is rounded out with an oaky, lasting finish that is reminiscent of the aroma of the Kentucky barrel warehouses from which it came."
Grab yourself these two whiskeys and let us know which one you like more.
